Palouse Region chapter of the “Citizens Climate Lobby” based in Moscow is being initiated by Rob Briggs and Pat Rathmann, co-chairs. CCL will send a representative here for the initial meeting, probably in March. We hope to draw as many people as possible to this meeting, from diverse backgrounds and political leanings. The CCL approach is to build relationships with congressional members (both republican and democrat), to write editorials for the press, and to support a fee on carbon at the source. We want to be inclusive of local democrats and republicans. http://citizensclimatelobby.org/
