Governor Inslee and Washington agency staff are conducting a study addressing the significant increases in oil transportation across the state, with hearings and comments that assess the risks and impacts of oil transportation to rail line and terminal communities and waterways. Crucial opportunities for public participation can provide input, express concerns, and inform state responses to combined oil and coal train and ship traffic affecting environmental and public health and safety and regional livelihoods and economies.
